Previous Work: Evaluate the work the designer has done in the past. Is there an overarching trend? How has her style grown over time? Has the designer pushed her own boundaries, reaching into other areas beyond the ones she originally started at?
Success Stories: Did this designer rock a particular task? Did she pushed design through her organization? Or maybe a bolt design interaction that set a trend? Was she part of a startup that became an Unicorn?
Design laissez faire: This is something more intangible. Is there something special about a designer that caught your eye? Maybe her background, or her transition from a evil-corp lawyer to social innovation design? We let you count this less objective traits into account, just make sure you tell us what it is that you appreciated 🙂

1. Anyone can submit a designer for the .dsgnrs. team to review. Once the .dsgnrs. team has all the candidates, they’ll choose 4 nominees out of all the candidates who met the minimum requirements.
2. The 4 nominees will be shared with the jury. From those 4, the jury will pick one each week who will be the featured designer.
3. On a weekly basis the .dsgnrs. team will publish on the website the featured designer.
4. Also, the featured designer will be highlighted in the .dsgnrs. weekly email that we send out, plus links to design articles and tools.
